NEW YORK / TORONTO – The National Hockey League will present a special edition of #HockeyAtHome on Mother’s Day, this Sunday, May 10. ‘#HockeyAtHome: NHL Hockey Moms’ will feature New York Rangers forward Ryan Strome, Chicago Blackhawks forward Dylan Strome and Philadelphia Flyers prospect Matthew Strome with their mom, Trish; Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes and New Jersey Devils forward Jack Hughes with their mom, Ellen; and emergency backup goalie David Ayres with his mom, Mary. The episode will premiere at 11 a.m. ET on NHL.com; the NHL’s YouTube, Facebook and IGTV platforms; and NBC Sports’ digital platforms (NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports App and the NHL Sports YouTube channel). SN1 also will air the episode at 1 p.m. ET on Mother’s Day.
Trish Strome discusses life as a mom to three hockey players, while Ryan, Dylan and Matthew reveal their reaction to her viral reading of the Rangers’ starting lineup. Quinn and Jack Hughes reminisce about their youth hockey days, including Ellen’s influence on their burgeoning skills.
